Naomi Newman
Naomi has been practicing yoga for over 30 years; beginning in London then moving to Los Angeles, through pregnancy & being mom to 3 very active, now grown, kids, while she trained for triathlons & recovered from injury - yoga kept her centered, grounded, in touch with herself.
So when “empty nest” was looming she chose to give herself the gift of a Teacher Training. It was the beginning of a transformational journey & she is now certified in HPF, Vinyasa, Yin & Prenatal Yoga with added study in Breath Work, Meditation & Yoga Nidra.
“Yoga so is a whole person practice; touching heart & mind as well as body. Yoga teaches you to look inward to discover & connect to your true, pure self, while turning outward to connect with & care for others. As a “yogi” you are part of a community that reaches across the world & stretches back thousands of years - that is a very comforting & powerful thing”
Naomi emphasizes personal alignment, finding the asana/pose in your body, to build strength & flexibility, as well as the healing benefits of stillness. She teaches at Hot8Yoga, VeritasYoga in Malibu as well as small group classes & private sessions at her beautiful outdoor home studio space.

Pixie K
Photography, for me, is a way to make people happy. Beyond the creativity, that joy is what I love most about it. My camera is a tool for capturing connection and celebration. I love sparking spontaneous moments—and I also know when to step back, switch to a long lens, and quietly preserve memories as they naturally unfold.
I've been photographing events and portraits professionally for over 20 years. Originally from New York City, I earned my BFA from the School of Visual Arts. I now live in Los Angeles and work throughout Southern California and around the world.
While photography is my main passion, I’m also a writer, traveler, hiker—and a dedicated cartwheel enthusiast. My favorite places to be are camping by a quiet lake, in the heart of Bali, or wandering along the cliffs of Big Sur.
