Kristina Van Orden - A full-time yoga teacher, athletic coach, meditation guide and most notably, a proud mama with over 400 RYT hours of certification, including 85 hour Prenatal / Postnatal yoga, Kristina creates and teaches the yoga curriculum for Sierra Canyon School Upper Campus in Los Angeles, and cross-trains athletes using her coaching expertise across many sports including surfing, running and climbing. Her passion is to guide students in health, strength and mindfulness, discovering the incredible tools they have within themselves.
Nick Warwick - With over 20 years of surfing experience and a decade dedicated to surf instruction and team coaching, Nick is a seasoned waterman who lives and breathes the ocean. Having traveled the globe chasing waves Nick brings a rich perspective to surf education. He has been working with young people for years, leading camps such as Freedom Surf Camp in the South Bay with a connection and understanding of his students that is unparalleled.
Who we are
Ages 6 - 12
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
Each program is two weeks, though daily and weekly sessions are available. Late Pick-up for an additional fee is also available.
8:30am Game of the Day - 30 minute warm up activity to kick off the new day
9:15am Yoga Practice - practice on surfboards in the sand; style + flow energetically tailored
10am Snack Attack - break for snacks, bathrooms, water safety
11am Surf Lesson - 1:1 guidance in the water - safety, form, technique + etiquette
12pm Lunch
1pm Free Swim / Play + Floating Meditation - 40 minutes of free play followed by 10 minute floating meditation in the ocean
2pm Change / Pack Up
2:30pm Pick-up
